Live and In Person

Being part of a community means getting out and getting your hands dirty.  I have found that when I am lost within myself and the four walls that I live in, serving others is what helps to snap me out.  Our church, The Chapel at Grossmont, had a work day today.  I have two children and my husband works on Saturdays so I give myself the excuse that participating would be too hard and I wouldn't get anything done anyway because I would have to watch my kids.  Well we went anyway today and my son helped as much as he could and was very excited about participating.  Another Mom watch the little ones and I was able to focus on projects in a way that I rarely get to do in my own home.  It was relaxing, fun to do with my church family and rewarding to see the end results.  Who have you served lately?  Get out and do it live!
